The Polar Skate Co. was founded by respected professional skateboarder Pontus Alv in 2011. Disheartened by the corporate dominance of the skateboarding world he found in America, after a period of reflection, Pontus decided to do it differently. From Malmö, his hometown in Sweden, he created and developed Polar Skate Co. with his own refined philosophy of creativity and open-mindedness taken to the extreme... and of course, skateboarding. Polar Skate Co. retains that original sense of anarchy and exploration that has always gone hand in hand with skateboarding, whether in the journey, the obstacles we create for ourselves, the self-published videos, or any other art form.
