LOVE AND LOYALTY
Ralph Lauren arrives at the store , and it's not like we've stolen a truck from El Corte Inglés in legendary Lo-Life mode, but we've brought some very classic caps. And today, wearing one of our caps on the street wouldn't hurt you, but in the late 1980s, wearing one of these items was a true statement of courage.
Thristin Howl III is one of the founders of the Lo Life crew, a collective that promoted and introduced expensive brands to the New York hip hop scene of the 1980s. This trend began to spread beyond New York, and anyone who couldn't afford to buy Polo, Tommy, or Benetton clothes would steal them to connect with the upper classes, for pure fashion, or simply to avoid getting in trouble with the police.
This movement spread to our country under the " Money, Hoes & Clothes " lifestyle code. Barcelona and Madrid maintain their own Lo Life collective, and love and loyalty have kept them alive to this day.
